# Liverpool target picks next club after admitting he’s open to a transfer

**While Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye have taken centre stage in recent weeks, Liverpool have been linked with a handful of other attackers.**

Victor Munoz has already joined the club, but with Mohamed Salah having departed and Hugo Ekitike injured, the Reds need more bodies and quality in the final third.

[Spain 2026 FIFA World Cup hero Ferran Torres](https://readliverpoolfc.com/news/ferran-torres-open-to-leaving-barcelona-liverpool-arsenal-psg/) has emerged as a target for Liverpool, although other clubs like PSG are also in the running for him.

And now, reports from Spain have confirmed that he has decided to move to France, with a move set to be formalised soon.

## Ferran Torres chooses PSG over Liverpool

After scoring the solitary goal in the final vs Argentina, Torres immediately became a worldwide sensation and has dominated the headlines since.

He has just a year left on his current deal at Barcelona, with Hansi Flick’s side eager to keep him for the forthcoming season at least.

[Sport](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/ferran-torres-da-quiero-psg-133129339) report that he has said ‘yes’ to PSG’s offer and will look to finalise a move to the French capital before he reports back to pre-season training for Barcelona next week.

Earlier this week, [Torres admitted that he’s open to leaving Barcelona](https://readliverpoolfc.com/news/ferran-torres-open-to-leaving-barcelona-liverpool-arsenal-psg/) and just wants to be happy playing football.

It won’t be at Anfield, though, as Spain’s World Cup hero will now take his services to France.
