# Liverpool target Gabriel Barbosa available for loan

.During his time back in Brazil at Santos, there weren’t many young players in the country that were rated as highly as Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa.

The young forward was attracting interest from a number of Europe’s top clubs prior to completing a £25m move to Inter Milan last summer, but things haven’t quite worked out for Gabigol yet.

After making just 10 appearances in all competitions, scoring once, Gabigol has been made available for loan, his agent Wagner Ribeiro has told Portuguese source [O Jogo](https://www.calciomercato.com/en/news/agent-of-brazlian-striker-liverpool-target-he-will-go-out-on-loa-37957):

> He will go out on-loan next season, that I can confirm. We have had proposals from England and Spain and we are studying them carefully.

Liverpool are amongst a host of clubs reportedly interested in signing the 20-year-old attacker who can play either on the right-wing or as a centre-forward.

Capped four times for Brazil, Gabigol would be interested in joining Porto, his agent claims:

> Gabriel would be pleased to play in Portugal with Porto, it’s a club and a championship that interests him.

Liverpool have just added Mohamed Salah to the attacking ranks at Anfield, so if the are ready to firm up their interest in Gabigol then someone will likely have to make way.
