# Liverpool Team News: Leeds (H)

Liverpool will be without Adam Lallana, Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge for the EFL Cup quarter-final with Leeds as all four are carrying injuries.

Jurgen Klopp confirmed that all four have not been training and as such, won’t be ready for the visit of the Yorkshire side.

Lallana and Firmino look to be in better shape that Sturridge who has a calf strain and both are in contention to play at the weekend.

Coutinho is likely to be out for a longer period after the injury he picked up against Sunderland although the length of time is not yet known until the Brazilian has had a scan.

Liverpool were always likely to play a much-changed side against Leeds anyway but those injuries will see the bench be weakened, although a fit Sturridge would probably have played.

The manager may have to decide whether to risk Divock Origi as an injury to him could leave the squad in worse shape. Youngster Ben Woodburn is one option if Klopp is looking for someone to lead the line.
