# Liverpool transfer news as huge ‘breakthrough’ expected within 48 hours

**Liverpool are running out of time to add to their squad before the summer transfer window deadline.**

The Reds have signed just three players under Andoni Iraola: Jeremy Jacquet, [Victor Munoz](https://readliverpoolfc.com/news/liverpool-fans-will-absolutely-love-andoni-iraolas-comments-on-victor-munoz/) and Ronald Araujo on loan.

Liverpool remain in talks to sign [Bradley Barcola](https://readliverpoolfc.com/tag/bradley-barcola/) from PSG, with the Frenchman expected to become one of the most expensive players in [Premier League](https://readliverpoolfc.com/news/paul-merson-predicts-where-liverpool-will-finish-in-the-2026-27-premier-league-table/) history.

A lot has been reported on the PSG man in recent days, but it appears as if the transfer saga is finally coming to an end.

Liverpool have less than a week to add to their squad and have been in talks for Barcola for over a month now.

In recent days, all the reporting on this saga – from France and England – has suggested that all parties expect the deal to be done.

However, it finally looks like they are getting a move on, with Barcola keen to move to Anfield after agreeing personal terms with the club.

Is it too soon to be watching Bradley Barcola comps on YouTube?
