# Liverpool’s Anderson Arroyo attracting interest from France and Germany

Liverpool youngster Anderson Arroyo is reportedly attracting interest from both Strasbourg and Nurnberg after impressive performances for Colombia.

According to [Goal](https://www.goal.com/en/news/liverpool-starlet-arroyo-attracting-interest-from-france-germany-/61t6y4tt7zpi1g617gsjeowge), both the French and German sides have scouted the full-back at the Under-20 World Cup in Poland.

The 19-year-old has impressed for his national side with his defensive capabilities and lightning speed, with Colombia defeating Poland 2-0 on Thursday.

Arroyo looks set to keep his place in the starting line-up when Colombia take on Senegal on Sunday, with a win booking their place in the knockout stages.

The right-back, who signed for Liverpool last year following a successful trial on Merseyside, has spent time on loan in Spain with Real Mallorca and Belgium with Gent.

Arroyo was a regular in Mallorca’s ‘B’ side, but after failing to break into the first-team, the Reds decided to send the talented teenager to Belgium.

It remains unsure as to whether Strasbourg and Nurnberg are exploring a permanent deal or a loan offer for the player, however, it appears as if Arroyo will be a man in demand this summer.
