# Mane and Salah named in Crooks’ Team of the Week

Liverpool duo Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah have both been named in Garth Crooks’ Team of the Week.

[Reviewing this weekend’s games for the BBC](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46010598), Crooks hailed the Liverpool forwards as the Reds put Cardiff to the sword on Saturday.

Crooks was full of praise for Mane after his performance.

> You won’t see two better goals this season from Mane than the ones he scored against Cardiff on Saturday. His power, strength and all-round agility for his first goal was sensational. As for his second, what a move.

Liverpool came out 4-1 winners against the Premier League new boys on Saturday, thanks to goals from Mane, Salah and Xherdan Shaqiri.

Mane scored two brilliantly-taken goals to help Liverpool on their way to three points.

Meanwhile, Salah himself is enjoying a decent run of form after a slow start to the season.

The forward scored two in midweek and added another goal to his tally for the season on Saturday afternoon.

The win on Saturday took Liverpool to the top of the Premier League, with Manchester City not playing until Monday evening.
