# Moreno and Sturridge set for summer exits

Liverpool pair Alberto Moreno and Daniel Sturridge are both set to leave the club at the end of the season, according to a report from [Paul Joyce of The Times](https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/andrew-robertson-set-to-sign-new-five-year-liverpool-contract-sfbgxj6ss).

It is claimed that the left-back could secure a move back to Spain at the expiration of his current contract, while the forward is also poised to seek pastures new in the summer.

Both players see their deals at Anfield expire at the end of the campaign and it appears as though no plans are in place to extend their respective stays on Merseyside.

Moreno has struggled to involve himself in Jurgen Klopp’s plans in recent seasons following the emergence of Andrew Robertson on the left-hand side of the defence.

Sturridge, meanwhile, has failed to kick on after starting the season in strong form.

The England international also has disciplinary proceedings looming over him after the FA charged him for misconduct in relation to gambling. He has until February to respond to these allegations.
