# Nabil Fekir’s agent on failed Liverpool move: “This is not the end of the story”

When asked by journalist Patrick Chene why Nabil Fekir’s move to Liverpool collapsed, the Frenchman’s agent, Jean-Pierre Bernes, said that his client passed his medical and that “the story isn’t over”.

He said:

> Nabil Fekir passed the medical checkup for Liverpool – He did not sign because it’s not over! The story isn’t over.

Fekir is currently on international duty with the French national team so any movement on a possible transfer is likely to come after France return home from the World Cup.

The 24-year-old was widely expected to sign for the Reds a few weeks ago but the deal did not go through, with suggestions being made that he’d failed his medical.

Bernes says that isn’t true, but gave no explanation as to why the deal wasn’t completed, even though Fekir had already completed his introductory interviews with the club.
