# Naby Keita injured during Guinea clash

Liverpool have seen their injury worries continue with the news that Naby Keita has been forced out of Guinea’s game with an injury.\
\
[Amadou Makadj of Foot224 reports](https://twitter.com/makadjiamadou/status/1052202784974618624) that the Liverpool star was struggling with a thigh injury.

Guinea are currently playing Rwanda in an African Cup of Nations qualifier, but Keita was unable to see out the game.

While the severity of the injury remains unclear at this stage, he is likely to now be considered as a serious doubt to face Huddersfield this weekend.

The news comes as another major blow for Jurgen Klopp and his side with Sadio Mane also injured during the international break.

Ronald Koeman has also slammed Liverpool’s treatment of Virgil van Dijk, who has been suffering from a rib problem for some time now.

James Milner and Mohamed Salah were also considered doubts to face David Wagner’s side, but they are now expected to be fit enough to feature.
