As cited by [Goal](https://twitter.com/goal) on Twitter above, Neuer was quick to praise the Brazilian for the incredible goal.

For a player such as Neuer to praise Alisson as such is a massive compliment.

The Liverpool No.1 became the first player in the clubs history to score a goal.

Not only that, but he also became the first goalkeeper to score a header in the Premier League too.

Alisson has had a [tough season](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-9585175/Alisson-pays-tribute-late-father-scoring-sensational-minute-winner-Liverpool.html) along with the rest of the squad on the pitch, but also off of it.

The death of his father a few months back meant the goal became so much more for the Brazilian.

In his post-match press conference, Alisson [dedicated](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-9585175/Alisson-pays-tribute-late-father-scoring-sensational-minute-winner-Liverpool.html) the goal to his father, stating he will be watching somewhere.
