Neymar has warned Brazil teammate and Liverpool forward Philippe Coutinho against joining Barcelona, according to [Mundo Deportivo](https://www.mundodeportivo.com/futbol/america/20170829/43899352768/charla-entre-coutinho-y-neymar-sobre-el-barca.htmlhttp://www.mundodeportivo.com/futbol/america/20170829/43899352768/charla-entre-coutinho-y-neymar-sobre-el-barca.html).

The report says that while away training with Brazil, Neymar has told Coutinho that he “won’t regret Liverpool’s decision to keep \[him\] away from Barcelona”. Neymar has recently departed Barca for PSG in a world record transfer.

Coutinho has been the subject of great speculation regarding a possible move to Barcelona, but Liverpool have stood their ground and are determined to ensure he is still a Red at the end of the window.

Coutinho joined Liverpool in 2013 from Italian giants Inter Milan for a fee of £8.5m. In that time, he has made 181 appearances for the Reds, and has scored 42 times. He has also created a further 37 goals for his team mates.

Liverpool currently sit second in the Premier League, and will face Manchester City after the international break.
