# PSG interested in signing Philippe Coutinho

After Eden Hazard decided to stay at Chelsea thanks to the arrival of new manager Antonio Conte, Paris Saint-Germain are looking for an alternative wide man and have apparently decided that Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho is the player they want.

According to a report in [Le10Sport](https://www.le10sport.com/football/mercato/exclu-mercato-psg-paris-pense-a-coutinho-liverpool-242367), PSG have already made a casual approach to the representatives of the Brazilian and are ready to make an official bid to Liverpool as they think he’d be interested in such a move.

PSG can obviously offer Coutinho more money and a chance to compete in the Champions League, something the Reds can not, so even though he is seemingly happy on Merseyside, there is a chance that he might look to get a move.

One potential issue for PSG in their pursuit of the Brazilian is that they would have to release another non-EU player in order to acquire him.

Jurgen Klopp will be desperate to keep Coutinho, as will Liverpool fans who are getting tired of seeing their best players leave.
