# Pundit tips ‘brilliant’ Arnaut Danjuma to strengthen Liverpool ranks

Former Premier League goalkeeper Paul Robinson has tipped Villarreal winger [Arnaut Danjuma](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/12/29/fabrizio-romano-claims-liverpool-really-love-villarreal-ace-arnaut-danjuma/) to strengthen the [Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2022/01/03/liverpool-fans-agree-with-pundit-following-shocking-jordan-henderson-display/) squad.

The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Reds in recent weeks following a [strong start](https://www.sofascore.com/player/arnaut-danjuma/827064) to life in La Liga.

Reputable journalist [Fabrizio Romano](https://open.spotify.com/episode/0Q5qOmBSdre3iPalSS9TdB) recently claimed that the Anfield club ‘really love’ the Dutchman.

Speaking to [Football Insider](https://www.footballinsider247.com/brilliant-danjuma-backed-to-dazzle-at-liverpool-after-romano-transfer-reveal-pundit/), Robinson suggested that the former AFC Bournemouth man could be a hit on Merseyside.

> I have been really impressed with him at Villarreal. He’s been brilliant under Unai Emery in a team that has done really well in recent years. I don’t think he is a player who would improve Liverpool’s starting XI straight away though. There is a lot of games for a club like Liverpool though so he would have a role to play. He would not be one of the first names on the team sheet but he is certainly a player who would add value to their squad. I could see him fitting into Klopp’s style of play. I think he’d do well.

So far this season Danjuma has [scored nine times and provided three assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/arnaut-danjuma/leistungsdaten/spieler/355861) in 18 appearances across all competitions.

Valued at £36million and under contract in Spain until 2026 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/arnaut-danjuma/marktwertverlauf/spieler/355861)), bringing the Dutchman to Anfield so soon after arriving at Villarreal would appear to be an impossible task.

However, possessing a range of [impressive attributes](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/323625/Show/Arnaut-Danjuma) including improving goal contributions, it’s clear to see why Jurgen Klopp would be keen on the star.

Predominantly [operating from the left-wing](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/arnaut-danjuma/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/355861) – a role in which Sadio Mane’s [form has dipped](https://www.sofascore.com/player/sadio-mane/217704) recently – Danjuma would make the ideal candidate to bolster the attacking ranks at Liverpool.
