# Real Madrid to sell Liverpool target Dani Ceballos

Liverpool have long been linked with a move for Real Madrid star Dani Ceballos and it seems the Spaniard will be made available for transfer in the summer.

According to a report from Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo, as cited by [talkSPORT](https://talksport.com/football/liverpool-fc-transfer-news-anfield-club-put-red-alert-after-dani-ceballos-told-he-can-leave) today, Real are willing to sell Ceballos as the youngster grows frustrated by the lack of game time under Zinedine Zidane.

Ceballos joined Real Madrid in the summer following an impressive season in Real Betis colours. The creative midfielder also went on to win the Player of the Tournament award in the European Under-21 Championships, further cementing his position as one of the continent’s most promising players.

Liverpool could look towards Ceballos to fill the void left by Philippe Coutinho, with the Brazilian having joined Barcelona in the January transfer window.

However, if the Reds are to land Ceballos from Real Madrid in the summer, they will be forced to pay a considerable sum. According to the report, the reigning Champions League winners will demand a fee of £25m for their young playmaker.
