# Report – Liverpool have Kovacic bid accepted

Liverpool have reportedly had a bid for Croatian midfielder Mateo Kovacic accepted by Inter Milan.

Italian newspaper *Tuttosport* are suggesting that the Reds have have agreed a €22.6million deal with Inter, with a further €3million in add-ons attached.

The reports for this deal are all coming from Italy at the moment; none of the British based journalists are writing about it at present.

One oddity is that *Tuttosport* ran some quotes from the player where he denied any deal had taken place.

He said: “*For now I’m still happy in Italy, but we’ll see about the future. Now I’m thinking about my holidays. I only know that I’m due back at Appiano Gentile on July 5th. That’s why I haven’t heard anyone from the club yet*.”
