It’s no surprise Musiala is attracted admirers given [his performances](https://www.sofascore.com/player/jamal-musiala/1010231) in one of the few teams who could legitimately claim [they have been on a par with Liverpool](https://footballdatabase.com/ranking/europe/1) in the last 18 months.

The report from BILD claimed that Musiala’s rise to prominence has ‘made people stand up and take notice’ – particularly in England, where [talkSPORT reported](https://talksport.com/football/804867/bayern-munich-jamal-musiala-contract-liverpool-man-united-man-city-transfer/) that the Reds, Manchester United and Manchester City had all expressed their interest.

[Jurgen Klopp](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2020/12/16/jurgen-klopp-reportedly-urges-fsg-to-offer-gini-wijnaldum-new-contract/) has been described as a [great admirer](https://www.football365.com/news/transfer-gossip-klopp-big-admirer-musiala-man-united-hakan-blow) of the Stuttgart-born midfielder, enough of a reason for [Bayern to negotiate a bumper new deal](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-9056477/Bayern-ready-reward-Musiala-100-000-week-deal-amid-Liverpool-United.html).

With [three goals in nine Bundesliga appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jamal-musiala/leistungsdaten/spieler/580195) and with Klopp’s tendency to place plenty of trust in youngsters, this is a move which would make perfect sense, should the Reds have the wherewithal to pull it off.

Unfortunately, dealing with a fellow superpower in the football world such as the Bavarian giants isn’t simply a case of money talks. It seems likely that the player would need to express his own desire to make the move happen – similar to [how the Thiago Alcantara deal occurred](https://metro.co.uk/2020/08/11/thiago-wants-liverpool-transfer-talks-jurgen-klopp-13116747/) during the last transfer window.

There may be some fans who believe Curtis Jones is simply a better version of Musiala – the two have very similar attributes and the [Scouser has had the better season thus far](https://www.whoscored.com/PlayerComparison) based on stats.,

We could certainly see Musiala lining up alongside Jones, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Harvey Elliott for years to come – so let’s hope Klopp’s charm and infectious smile can be persuasive.
