# Roberto Firmino not for sale, amid PSG interest

Liverpool are not considering selling Roberto Firmino this summer, despite interest from French giants Paris Saint-Germain.

Thomas Tuchel is thought to be an admirer of Firmino and sees the forward as a long-term replacement for Edison Cavani, who is being linked with a move away from the French capital this summer.

However, according to the BBC, cited by the [Liverpool Echo](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-news-and-transfers-live-16288435), the Reds will turn down any approach made for the Brazilian, who joined the club back in 2015 from Hoffenheim.

The 27-year-old has made over 135 Premier League appearances for the club during his four-year stay, scoring 48 league goals.

Firmino played a key role under Jurgen Klopp this season as the Reds finished on a remarkable 97 Premier League points.

The energetic forward also has a chance of winning his first piece of silverware with the club on June 1, when the Reds take on fellow Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final.
