# Roberto Firmino trains ahead of Liverpool’s clash with Barcelona

Liverpool have been handed a huge injury boost on the eve of their Champions League semi-final clash with Barcelona as Roberto Firmino has returned from injury to train with the other members of the squad.

The Brazilian sat out of Liverpool’s 5-0 win over Huddersfield Town on Friday evening with a small muscle tear but it looks like he’ll be fine to face Barcelona on Wednesday evening.

Firmino trained alongside his teammates at Melwood on Tuesday afternoon and as such, he’s now in contention to start the game at the Nou Camp.

Earlier this week, manager Jurgen Klopp admitted that he wasn’t 100% sure that his Brazilian striker would be fit enough to play in the game but the fact that he’s trained as normal suggests that he’s in line to start as Liverpool look to qualify for the Champions League final for a second straight year.
