# Sadio Mane a doubt to face Burnley on Wednesday night

Jurgen Klopp has cast doubts over Sadio Mane’s availability for the game against Burnley on Wednesday night.

[Speaking at his pre-match press conference, as reported by Paul Joyce](https://twitter.com/_pauljoyce/status/1069946953667108866), Klopp confirmed that the Senegalese winger is struggling with a cut on his foot.

When discussing the player’s injury, Klopp explained that the player has been ‘walking around in flip-flops’ since the victory over Everton.

> Sadio has an awful cut in his foot. He needed to be stitched. He is walking around in flip-flops, but we don’t play in flip-flops.

The Liverpool boss is expected to rotate his side against Sean Dyche’s men, amid concerns of fatigue among the squad.

Andy Robertson and Roberto Firmino are expected to miss out on the game, with Bournemouth to come in the early kick-off on Saturday afternoon.

After a dramatic winner in the final moments against Everton, there is no sign of the pressure slowing down for Liverpool, with the Reds fully aware that they need to maintain the pace set by Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side.
