# Sancho set to leave Dortmund amidst Liverpool and Man United interest

Jadon Sancho will leave Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season, according to *[Sky](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/11932305/jadon-sancho-to-leave-borussia-dortmund-manchester-united-interested)*.

The 19-year-old has been [tipped](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2019/12/28/liverpools-interest-in-jadon-sancho-confirmed/) to join Liverpool in recent months, but [Manchester United](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2019/12/05/sancho-would-prefer-to-join-liverpool-over-man-united/) and [Chelsea](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2019/12/08/chelsea-set-to-bid-100m-for-jadon-sancho/) are believed to have shown a strong interest, too.

United are mentioned again in this latest update, ahead of what could be a big battle for Sancho’s signature this summer.

The [£108 million-rated](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jadon-sancho/profil/spieler/401173) forward has [scored 12 goals and provided 13 assists](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/346300/Show/Jadon-Sancho) in the Bundesliga alone this season.

### Read Liverpool Verdict

Liverpool’s interest appears to have turned towards [Timo Werner](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2020/02/12/reliable-journalist-confirms-klopps-interest-in-werner/), but I would love the Reds to sign Sancho. At just 19, he has the world at his feet and he is already delivering [hugely impressive numbers in the league](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/346300/Show/Jadon-Sancho).

The England international could come in and provide immediate competition in the front-three, especially with Mohamed Salah [potentially](https://twitter.com/AfricanFtblHQ/status/1227588035719639042?s=20) missing the start of the next season because of the Olympics.

With Salah and Sadio Mane also likely to be on [Africa Cup of Nations](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51119002) duty next January and February, too, the need for top class reinforcements is clear.

Sancho’s [rumoured](https://sportwitness.co.uk/manchester-united-chasing-e100m-player-club-aware-difficult-retain-star-beyond-season/) €150 million price tag could be an issue for Liverpool, in my opinion, with the Reds not always keen to [pay over the odds](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-jurgen-klopp-transfer-news-16634983) for new signings.
