# Sarri backs Liverpool to win the Premier League

Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri believes that Liverpool will win the Premier League this season.

Speaking to reporters ahead of the game this weekend, [as cited on Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/competitions/premier-league/11511244/sarri-tips-liverpool-for-pl-title), Sarri explained that their consistency and continuity under Jurgen Klopp could see them go all the way this season.

> They have worked with the same coach for four seasons. I think that they are ready to win the Premier \[League\].

Liverpool are among the favourites to win the league after their impressive summer transfer window.

Klopp’s side currently sit top of the league, but a defeat on Saturday could see the Blues leapfrog them at the top.

The two teams have already faced each other once this week in the Carabao Cup.

Chelsea beat Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday night thanks to a brilliant solo performance from Eden Hazard, who came off the bench to turn the game on its head.

However, the Reds will be hoping that a near full strength team will be able to secure a more positive result.
