# Sheyi Ojo set to leave Liverpool with Nottingham Forest showing interest

Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo will ve allowed to leave the club this summer, either permanently or on loan, as reported by [Goal’s Neil Jones.](https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/aston-villa-among-several-premier-league-clubs-interested-in/hbfqnz77td6710pma4f7shqnu)

Ojo has reportedly attracted interest from numerous Championship clubs including Nottingham Forest, Huddersfield, and Reading.

In his five years at Anfield, the 23-year-old has become somewhat of a serial loanee, making only eight appearances for his parent club during the 2015/16 campaign.

The winger has had loan spells with Wigan Athletic, Wolves and Fulham in recent seasons, as well as two years in France with Ligue 1 club Reims.

More recently, the England Under 21 international spent last season with Reds legend Steven Gerrard as his manger at Rangers, where he scored once in 19 Scottish Premiership appearances.

Now it seems the club are ready to part ways with Ojo once more, either on a permanent basis or another loan deal and it is unclear whether Rangers would be interested in taking the winger for another season.

Whether it be this summer or in the future, it looks inevitable Ojo will eventually leave Anfield on a permanent basis without making the impact on the club he might’ve dreamt of when he joined from Milton Keynes Dons in 2015.

The fact that he struggled to have a major impact on games in Scotland doesn’t bode well for his chances of making it at Liverpool so a transfer, at this point, looks like the best move for all parties.
