# Sheyi Ojo to be sidelined for three months

Liverpool youngster Sheyi Ojo could be sidelined for three months after dislocating his shoulder in the London derby against Queens Park Rangers last night.

[The Liverpool Echo](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-youngster-sheyi-ojo-suffers-13697066) reports that Ojo was carried off the pitch on a stretcher in the 55th minute of the game, despite an impressive first-half performance from the 20-year-old.

The youngster collided with defender Joel Lynch and landed awkwardly. Ojo was sent straight to the hospital after the clash.

Fulham went on to win the game 2-1 with Ryan Fredericks and Stefan Johansen scoring the goals for the Cottagers.

The report states that Liverpool’s medical team have already approached Fulham to discuss what’s next for the youngster.

As many players do in this situation, Ojo could return to his parent club to complete his rehabilitation.

The youngster has been a regular feature in the Fulham squad this season since joining on loan. He has made six appearances, with the Cottagers sitting in ninth place in the Championship.
