> I’ve got so much respect and love for Mo Salah. I could watch him all day.

> You could never look at him and say he’s not trying – he’s someone who puts it in all the time.

> He looks like if he loses the ball he will charge back for his team. He’s always looking for options for his teammates, he creates a lot of goals.

> There’s just something about him that is just so influential, you hear all those stories about him looking after people in petrol stations – he just comes across as a really good guy and I want him in my team.

It speaks volumes that a fellow elite sportsman like Broad thinks so highly of Salah, especially as he [supports Nottingham Forest](https://ws.sportsmole.co.uk/football/nottingham-forest/news/broad-urges-lansbury-to-stay-at-forest_238583.html) and not Liverpool.

The 28-year-old Egyptian is a true global icon right now and he will again be a talisman for the Reds as they aim to clinch back-to-back Premier League titles.

It is sometimes easy to take Salah for granted, such is the consistency of his goalscoring, but he will be an incredible loss when the sad day eventually arrives for him to leave Anfield.
