# Taylor sees Liverpool move as a possibility

Leeds United defender Charlie Taylor reportedly sees a summer move to Liverpool as a genuine possibility.

According to a report from the [Yorkshire Evening Post](https://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/sport/football/leeds-united/leeds-united-berardi-looks-tailor-made-to-be-a-permanent-fixture-1-8414651), sources close to the player believe that a move to Anfield could be on the cards for the left-back when the summer transfer window comes around as he looks to move on from Elland Road.

The 23-year-old is currently continuing his recovery from an Achilles injury sustained just before Christmas, but it looks as though he is nearing a return to the first-team in the coming weeks.

Prior to his injury, Taylor was catching the eye of many Premier League clubs with some excellent displays at left-back for Leeds, proving to be a vital cog in Garry Monk’s plans.

Taylor is out of contract in the summer and could be available to sign for Liverpool for a free transfer, but compensation would need to be paid to the Championship outfit.
