# The incredible statistic that Liverpool must put an end to against Everton

Liverpool head to Everton this weekend looking to put a stop to one shock statistic.

It promises to be one of the most fiercely-competitive Merseyside derbies in years on Saturday afternoon, with the Blues no doubt fancying their chances.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side have won all four Premier League games so far this season, while Liverpool trail their local rivals by three points.

While the general narrative is that the Reds have completely dominated the fixture – they have admittedly not lost home or away for a decade – they haven’t had things their own way at all.

In fact, it turns out that Liverpool have never scored inside 90 minutes at Goodison Park under Jurgen Klopp, which seems scarcely believable, considering the German has just celebrated five years at Anfield.

The only goal that the Reds have scored there during his tenure was Sadio Mane’s stoppage time winner back in December 2016, earning his side a [1-0 victory](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38285256).

Since then, Liverpool have drawn a blank on every occasion, with three goalless draws in a row taking place – not exactly classics for the neutral.

Performances at Goodison have been lacking for too long now, but Saturday would be a perfect time to change that.
