That is a real compliment coming from Thiago when you look at some of the players he has played with.

As many know, the Spaniard was bought from Bayern Munich, where he played alongside Robert Lewandowski.

The pair [played](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/thiago/gemeinsameSpiele/spieler/60444) 193 games together during his time at Bayern – with Lewandowski [scoring](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/robert-lewandowski/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/38253) 293 goals for the German club.

Lewandowski has [scored](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/robert-lewandowski/alletore/spieler/38253/plus/0?saison=&verein=27&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&minute=&pos=&torart=203&stand=) 55 goals with his head for Bayern, and for Thiago to label Alisson’s as the best he has ever seen is a real compliment.

It will become a moment that will go down in the clubs history given its quality and importance.

Alisson has kept the club in the top four race, with the Reds now just [one point](https://www.premierleague.com/tables) off of fourth spot.
