# Toffees worried about Liverpool and Spurs interest as they chase Zaha deal

Everton are worried that both Liverpool and Tottenham could beat them to a deal to sign £50m-rated Wilfried Zaha.

As per a report from [Goal](https://www.goal.com/en/news/everton-target-big-money-move-for-50m-zaha/797rfdd39s9m1uucnh3x0ohuc), the Toffees are keen to land the Ivorian in a bid to shake up their attacking options this summer.

However, they believe that should they open negotiations with the player, Liverpool, Spurs and even Borussia Dortmund could provide competition for a deal.

Tottenham have been long-term admirers of the player and have failed in moves for Zaha previously.

Dortmund are the most recent club to be linked with a move, as they look to replace the recently departed Andriy Yarmolenko.

The forward is being heavily tipped to leave Palace this summer after playing a key role in their survival bid last season.

Zaha was Crystal Palace’s standout performer. After being used as a makeshift striker, it was largely his goals that kept the Eagles in the top flight.
