With Champions League secured for next season, the summer will no doubt be spent strengthening the squad.

However, that doesn’t come before an important summer of football with Euro 2020 set to kick off.

This will no doubt see a large crop of the Liverpool squad head off to represent their respective countries.

Despite that, there is a likelihood that one of the clubs biggest stars may be set to miss out.

It would be a huge loss for England if Southgate were to snub Trent ahead of next months tournament.

The youngster has been one of the clubs [best performers](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/26/Show/England-Liverpool) this season despite a slight lapse in form.

England have a range of incredible talent and Trent is definitely in that group.

To leave a player out with his talent and experience at such a young age would be a huge mistake from Southgate.

At just 22-years-old, Trent has already been to a major tournament under Southgate as well as having the Premier League and Champions League under his belt.

Snubbing that type of experience and talent is an awful take especially if the country is serious about winning.

England have a great chance at winning the tournament this time around and Trent would play a big part in that.
