# Trent fires back at Oxlade-Chamberlain after free-kick jibe

Trent Alexander-Arnold enjoyed a laid-back Monday afternoon, treating his Twitter followers to a [Q&A](https://twitter.com/trentaa98).

The right-back answered questions on a variety of subjects, whether it be relating to football, dogs or films.

One question that stood out revolved around Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who was shown [mocking](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2020/02/10/oxlade-chamberlain-mocks-alexander-arnold-after-scoring-stunning-free-kick/) Alexander-Arnold’s free-kick taking ability in recent days, having scored one himself during training.

The 21-year-old produced a brilliant response when asked about his teammate’s chances of taking free-kicks for Liverpool moving forward:

Alexander-Arnold and his Liverpool colleagues were [back at Melwood](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/386298-sadio-mane-james-milner-liverpool-training-photos-melwood-norwich) on Monday, having enjoyed a winter break last week.

The hope is that he and the rest of the squad return refreshed and ready for a potentially memorable final three months of the season.

Alexander-Arnold will know how close he is to being a Premier League champion for his boyhood club at the age of just 21.

He just needs to continue his current form – a level that has brought him [26 assists over the past two seasons](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/318871/History/Trent-Alexander-Arnold) – and it will go a long way towards Liverpool clinching glory.
