# VIDEO: Liverpool players celebrate becoming Premier League champions

Liverpool are the Premier League champions.

Chelsea’s 2-1 victory over Manchester City on Thursday evening saw the Reds win their first ever Premier League title, and their 19th top-flight championship overall.

Liverpool’s players gathered together to watch the game and here’s how they all celebrated at the final whistle.

Liverpool won the title with seven games to spare, which is a Premier League record, and they also became the first team to ever secure the title in June, due to the delay in action caused by the global pandemic.
