# Virals: Agent attempting to lure Fabio Carvalho to Liverpool switch

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/11/10/virals-liverpool-ready-to-make-contract-offer-to-marcelo-brozovic/) have been extensively linked with a move for teenage Fulham sensation [Fabio Carvalho](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/11/04/virals-liverpool-confident-of-winning-the-race-for-fabio-carvalho/) in recent weeks.

The Reds are believed to be among the leading contenders to prise the 19-year old away from Craven Cottage as his [contract](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fabio-carvalho/profil/spieler/559263) heads towards the final six months.

Now according to a report from the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10186347/Fulhams-Fabio-Carvalho-chased-super-agent-Jorge-Mendes-plotting-Liverpool-move.html), as cited by [LFC Transfer Room](https://twitter.com/LFCTransferRoom) on Twitter, super-agent Jorge Mendes is attempting to make the switch to Anfield a reality.

This season the England youth international has [scored three times and provided one assist](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fabio-carvalho/leistungsdaten/spieler/559263) in seven Championship appearances.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Liverpool already boast a [commendable track record](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-9936287/Gary-Neville-hails-brilliant-Harvey-Elliott-Liverpool-youngsters-display-against-Chelsea.html) when landing talented teenagers from Fulham and will be hoping Harvey Elliott can be a guiding light for the starlet.

Predominantly an attacking midfielder, Carvalho has [played in a variety of positions](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fabio-carvalho/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/559263) across the final third and would offer a fresh option to Klopp for the second half of the season.

Although it is unlikely the Portugal-born wonderkid would be Premier League ready immediately, bolstering the [squad](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/team/first-team) with players capable of making an impact could be the difference between a successful season or otherwise.

Likely to be available at a cut-price fee in January, Liverpool should waste no time in bringing the teen to Anfield.
