# Virals: Agent of ‘magnificent’ Mohamed Salah flies in to finalise contract

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/10/16/mark-lawrenson-tips-liverpool-for-comfortable-away-success/) forward [Mohamed Salah](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/10/14/virals-liverpool-preparing-new-82m-mohamed-salah-contract-offer/) was once again the star of the show as the Reds demolished Watford 5-0 at Vicarage Road.

Salah was on unstoppable form and capped off a superb all-round display with a [mesmeric goal](https://www.givemesport.com/1769805-mohamed-salah-scores-sensational-solo-goal-for-liverpool-vs-watford) in front of the travelling Kop.

That strike made it [eight goals in eight consecutive games](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58940954) for Jurgen Klopp’s side despite continued off-field speculation regarding a new contract.

Now, according to a report from [The Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/mohamed-salahs-agent-jets-liverpool-25231578), as cited by [The Anfield Buzz](https://twitter.com/TheAnfieldBuzz/status/1449516722571157509) on Twitter, the 29-year-old’s agent, Ramy Abbas, has headed to the UK to finalise the new deal.

Yesterday’s performance epitomised Salah’s early season form and earned praise from Liverpool legends [Ian Rush](https://twitter.com/Ian_Rush9/status/1449355393965101066?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1449355393965101066%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fd-16265650611892658781.ampproject.net%2F2110011758000%2Fframe.html) and John Aldridge alike – the latter hailing the Egyptian as ‘magnificent’ on Twitter.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

If ever a man was [deserving](https://www.sofascore.com/player/mohamed-salah/159665) of a new and improved contract, it’s Salah right now.

Seemingly enjoying the form of his life, despite previous lofty heights, the Egyptian King is showing no signs of slowing down and already has [10 goals and four assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/mohamed-salah/leistungsdaten/spieler/148455) in just 10 appearances this term.

Ultimately having to replace the [£90million valued](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/mohamed-salah/marktwertverlauf/spieler/148455) superstar would be an expensive and perhaps currently impossible venture given the winger’s levels.
