# Virals: Bayern Munich considering sale of Liverpool target Kingsley Coman

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/10/27/virals-liverpool-are-keeping-tabs-on-chelsea-defender-antonio-rudiger/) have been linked with a move for Bayern Munich winger [Kingsley Coman](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/09/10/virals-liverpool-target-kingsley-coman-dreams-of-epl-move/) in recent times and may receive a boost in any pursuit.

Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are reportedly considering cashing in on the Frenchman as he entered the [final 18 months](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kingsley-coman/profil/spieler/243714) of a deal in Bavaria.

Much in the same way Bayern allowed [Thiago to leave the club](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11890/12074593/thiago-alcantara-liverpool-sign-bayern-munich-midfielder-in-25m-deal) as the Spaniard’s contract dwindled, Coman could be the next man sold before leaving for nothing.

This comes from a report from Spanish outlet [AS](https://as.com/futbol/2021/10/25/internacional/1635142609_570498.html), as cited by [Liverpool FC News](https://twitter.com/LivEchoLFC) on Twitter.

The report claims Bayern are ‘thinking of releasing’ the [34-cap](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kingsley-coman/nationalmannschaft/spieler/243714/verein_id/3377) World Cup winner in the summer of 2022 as they eye-up Liverpool linked Karim Adeyemi and Antony as possible replacements.

Coman, described as a [‘great talent’](https://www.bundesliga.com/en/news/Bundesliga/ten-things-about-kingsley-coman.jsp) by Fernando Llorente, has endured a difficult start to the 2021/22 season and recently [underwent minor surgery](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11890/12410615/kingsley-coman-bayern-munich-forward-has-heart-surgery-after-minor-irregularity-found) to mend a heart irregularity.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Albeit a trophy-laden career, the 25-year-old Frenchman has been [badly hampered by injury](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kingsley-coman/verletzungen/spieler/243714) throughout his early years.

That said, pulling off a carbon copy of the deal that saw [Thiago arrive on Merseyside](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54199589#:~:text=Liverpool%20have%20signed%20midfielder%20Thiago,be%20here%2C%22%20he%20said.) would be a huge coup for the Reds.

Valued at £49.5million ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kingsley-coman/marktwertverlauf/spieler/243714)), signing Coman for any-cut price fee remains a viable opportunity for any elite club.
