# Virals: Brazilian commentary makes Alisson Becker goal even better

[Alisson Becker](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/05/09/jamie-carragher-lauds-huge-alisson-becker-display/) became the first goalkeeper to find the back of the net for the Reds after the Brazilian headed home an all-important match-winner against West Brom.

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/05/17/jamie-redknapp-heaps-praise-on-thiago-after-west-brom-display/) had huffed and puffed for 94 minutes but had been unable to get ahead of their hosts at any point.

Jurgen Klopp’s men [came from behind](https://www.theguardian.com/football/live/2021/may/16/west-brom-v-liverpool-premier-league-live) in the first half when Mohamed Salah slotted home his [22nd Premier League goal](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/top-scorers) of the season.

But with time running out in a must-win clash to keep their [top-four destiny](https://www.premierleague.com/tables) in their own hands, Alisson came forwards for a corner in dying embers.

Remarkably the 28-year-old rose highest and expertly [headed a pinpoint effort](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDa5A20jDGs) beyond Sam Johnstone to send his teammates and those watching on into a frenzy.

Such a moment needs little improvement, however, impassioned footage has emerged on Twitter via [Chant LFC](https://twitter.com/ChantLFC/status/1393998358067429377?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1393998358067429377%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.empireofthekop.com%2F2021%2F05%2F16%2Fvideo-brazilian-commentators-go-berserk-after-alissons-match-winning-goal-goaaaaaaaaaaaal%2F) of how the goal was captured in the stoppers homeland Brazil.

> Twitter: Brazilian commentary….CLASSSSSSS! ![😂](https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/13.0.1/svg/1f602.svg) ![🙏](https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/13.0.1/svg/1f64f.svg)@michaelrbutlin https://t.co/cfqkcPno1x (@ChantLFC)

Alisson became just the [sixth goalkeeper to score](https://www.premierleague.com/news/2145933#:~:text=Brazilian%20becomes%20the%20sixth%20'keeper,late%20header%20at%20West%20Brom&text=Alisson%20Becker%20stunned%20West%20Bromwich,score%20in%20Premier%20League%20history.) in the Premier League era and the first to net a winner.

An extraordinary moment that has kept Liverpool’s top-four hopes alive as Klopp’s men prepare to [face Burnley on Wednesday](https://www.skysports.com/liverpool-fixtures) before a final day clash with Crystal Palace on Sunday.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Whilst nobody could’ve predicted what transpired – there are few players Kopites would rather have headed home such a vital winner.

Given the off and on-field tribulations suffered this season, the Brazilian gave an [emotional post-match interview](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-9585175/Alisson-pays-tribute-late-father-scoring-sensational-minute-winner-Liverpool.html) – endearing himself to the wider footballing world in the process.

Just soak up that moment, they don’t come along too often.
