# Virals: Jude Bellingham causes Twitter stir in response to strong links

Borussia Dortmund midfielder [Jude Bellingham](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/11/01/craig-hignett-claims-jude-bellingham-is-liverpool-bound/) created pandemonium on Twitter amongst Kopites by responding to the strongest link to a move yet.

This comes as it was claimed by former Blackburn Rovers midfielder Craig Hignett that the 18-year-old was [‘Liverpool bound’](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1514950/Jude-Bellingham-responds-claims-Liverpool-transfer-news-bound-deletes-tweet) in the future.

Bellingham – or perhaps his social media team – took to [social media](https://twitter.com/TheAnfieldAlert/status/1455265377324314641?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1455265377324314641%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.empireofthekop.com%2F2021%2F11%2F01%2Fjude-bellingham-tweets-then-deletes-response-to-claim-that-hes-telling-people-hes-liverpool-bound-some-reds-fans-are-baffled%2F) with a gif of himself laughing in response to a Tweet highlighting the links.

The teenage sensation had previously been [linked](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/jude-bellingham-transfer-latest-liverpool-21508468) with a switch to the Reds and actions such as this will only further intensify the speculation.

Meanwhile, somewhat bereft of existing midfield options, Jurgen Klopp will have been delighted to see [Fabinho and Thiago](https://twitter.com/LFC/status/1455249222811389955) seemingly make successful returns to training ahead of important matches with Atletico Madrid and West Ham this week.

Both were sorely missed in the [2-2 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/448011-inside-anfield-behind-the-scenes-of-liverpool-2-2-brighton) at Anfield over the weekend and Klopp will hope to regain some poise with their presence.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Oh, Jude.

Liverpool fans are rightfully excited by the prospect of signing the [eight-cap](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jude-bellingham/nationalmannschaft/spieler/581678/verein_id/3299) England international.

Way ahead of his years in terms of [development](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/379868/Show/Jude-Bellingham) and presence at the very top table, Bellingham would be a transformational capture for the Reds with many years of top-class service almost a guarantee.

Back in the present, the return of either Thiago or Fabinho to the side will give Klopp much-needed midfield options ahead of yet another [international break](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/match/2021-22/men/fixtures-and-results).
