# Virals: Jurgen Klopp confirms Mohamed Salah is ‘ready’ ahead of EPL clash

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2022/03/15/gary-neville-labels-liverpool-attack-an-absolute-joke/) manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed [Mohamed Salah](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2022/03/15/virals-la-liga-manager-wants-liverpool-superstar-mohamed-salah/) should be in line to face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

The 29-year-old Egyptian limped off in the [2-0 victory](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rW-p3NJMYE) over Brighton having scored from the penalty spot.

Seemingly struggling with a foot problem, there had been [doubts](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1580535/Mohamed-Salah-injury-latest-update-Liverpool-news-Arsenal-squad) as to whether Salah would be fit for the clash in the capital.

Speaking to the press ahead of the trip, Klopp [confirmed](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zo3W3CLQ_Gw) that the star forward would likely be available.

Centre-back Ibrahima Konate has also [returned](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-injury-covid-konate-salah-23358681) to fitness, whilst Roberto Firmino has continued in training having watched on from the bench on the south coast.

There was worse news for James Milner and Kostas Tsimikas however as both were [ruled out](https://twitter.com/ptgorst/status/1503695531230605315) due to illness.

Salah just continues to defy belief

Most players having hobbled off wouldn’t even contemplate a return in a matter of days, but thankfully the [Egyptian King](https://talksport.com/football/660139/mohamed-salah-song-what-are-the-lyrics-to-liverpool-chant/) is built differently.

After Premier League title rivals Manchester City dropped points against Crystal Palace, the [£90million valued](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/mohamed-salah/marktwertverlauf/spieler/148455) star will, like his teammates, be desperate to make an impression on this game and take the Reds to within one point of the summit.
