Signing additional [attacking options](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/team/first-team) looks to be part of the next phase for this Liverpool squad.

Diaz has been a consistent performer since arriving in Portugal and despite [struggling](https://www.sofascore.com/player/luis-diaz/883537) to get the better of makeshift right-back James Milner, would represent a smart signing.

Possessing an [abundance](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/377168/Show/Luis-D%C3%ADaz) of attacking skills, the Columbian would enhance the weapons at Klopp’s disposal no end.

Under contract until 2024 and holding a market value of £22.5million ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/luis-diaz/marktwertverlauf/spieler/480692)), this could be a deal that comes at an affordable price for the Reds.
