# Virals: Liverpool ‘closely following’ Sparta Prague starlet Adam Hlozek

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2022/03/02/virals-liverpool-prepare-offer-for-villarreal-starlet-yeremy-pino/) are reported to be ‘closely monitoring’ Sparta Prague starlet [Adam Hlozek](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/07/22/virals-liverpool-weigh-up-move-for-sparta-prague-starlet-adam-hlozek/) ahead of a potential summer swoop.

The 19-year-old has been [extensively linked](https://talksport.com/football/987791/west-ham-adam-hlozek-transfer-news-liverpool/) to West Ham previously and it was expected the London club would return in the near future.

However, the Reds could be set to step in and bring the [talented](https://www.sofascore.com/player/adam-hlozek/963801) Czech Republic international striker to Merseyside.

That’s according to a report from [Jeunes Footeux](https://www.jeunesfooteux.com/Mercato-Liverpool-s-invite-dans-le-dossier-Adam-Hlozek_a52459.html), as cited on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/Jeunesfooteux/status/1498672259812179974).

The report claims that the [12-cap](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-hlozek/nationalmannschaft/spieler/552057/verein_id/3445) ace has ‘caught the eye’ of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

This season the teenager – described as a [‘huge talent’](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-hlozek-europe-rsquo-s-u-17-regular-and-dribbler-under-the-watchful-eyes-of-rosicky/view/news/349835) – has [scored eight times and provided a further 12 assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-hlozek/leistungsdaten/spieler/552057) in 33 appearances across all competitions.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Valued at £17.1million and under contract in Prague until 2024 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-hlozek/marktwertverlauf/spieler/552057)), signing Hlozek for the mooted €20million (£16.6million) fee would be superb business.

Capable of [playing across the front three](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-hlozek/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/552057) and as a second striker, the Czech teen would offer supreme versatility to Klopp’s ranks.

Already a fully-fledged senior international and with [129 club career appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-hlozek/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/552057) under his belt despite still being so young, this would appear to have all the hallmarks of a must-buy for the Reds.
