[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/10/04/garth-crooks-makes-opinion-u-turn-on-mohamed-salah/) are reportedly considering a move for Polish attacking midfielder Kacper Kozlowski.

The 17-year-old Pogoń Szczecin starlet is enjoying a breakthrough season in Poland having [come through the youth ranks](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kacper-kozlowski/transfers/spieler/554284) at the top-flight club.

Already a senior international following a prestigious youth record including [six goals](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kacper-kozlowski/nationalmannschaft/spieler/554284/verein_id/3442) at Under 17 level, Kozlowski is earning a burgeoning reputation.

According to a report from the [Daily Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-next-kevin-de-bruyne-25123863?_ga=2.12912375.1346317987.1633328226-1537486511.1588352392), as cited by [Anfield Effect](https://twitter.com/AnfieldEffect/status/1444576031575248897) on Twitter, the Reds are keen on the Polish youngster.

The report claims that Liverpool are ‘working on a deal’ for the [five-times capped](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kacper-kozlowski/nationalmannschaft/spieler/554284/verein_id/3442) ace who missed [11 games](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kacper-kozlowski/verletzungen/spieler/554284) in 2020 following a traffic accident.

Bayer Leverkusen, AC Milan, RB Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg are also believed to be keen on the starlet dubbed [‘the Polish Pogba’](https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/kacper-kozlowski-polish-pogba-man-utd-radar/e6xss0igxb6216wllu5n3whx7) in his homeland.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Heavily [linked](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/jude-bellingham-liverpool-linked-move-21508358) with fellow teenage sensation Jude Bellingham, it would be a very Liverpool move to sign a relatively unknown alternative.

Very much a forward-thinking midfielder, signing Kozlowski would add to the plethora of young attacking talent at Jurgen Klopp’s disposal alongside [Curtis Jones](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/10/01/kevin-campbell-tips-naby-keita-to-get-the-nod-against-manchester-city/), Harvey Elliott and Kaide Gordon.

Valued at £4.5million and under contract until 2023 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kacper-kozlowski/marktwertverlauf/spieler/554284)), there would appear to be very little downside to this transfer.
