# Virals: Liverpool ‘eyeing’ move for Juventus outcast Aaron Ramsey

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/11/30/danny-murphy-full-of-praise-for-brilliant-liverpool-star-diogo-jota/) are reportedly ‘eyeing’ a move for out of favour Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey.

The 30-year-old is way down the pecking order in Turin and is believed to be [seeking a move back to England](https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/aaron-ramsey-arsenal-transfer-everton-20554406) in order to resurrect a stalling domestic career.

Reds’ boss Jurgen Klopp is [reported](https://twitter.com/totalfc_/status/1464332380936847369) to be a huge admirer of the Welshman and has recently been linked with bringing the ace to Anfield.

As both Juventus and Ramsey look to manufacture a transfer, Spanish outlet [Fichajes.net](https://www.fichajes.net/noticias/liverpool-fija-aaron-ramsey-reforzar-mediocampo-20211130.html) has claimed that Liverpool are considering the [71-cap](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/aaron-ramsey/nationalmannschaft/spieler/50057/verein_id/3864) stalwart to add options to the squad.

Since allowing [Gini Wijnaldum to leave on a free](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/why-gini-wijnaldum-leaving-liverpool-20781054) in the summer, Klopp’s midfield department has been ravaged by injuries.

So far [this season](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/liverpool-fc/sperrenundverletzungen/verein/31) Harvey Elliott, Thiago, Jordan Henderson, Naby Keita, Curtis Jones and James Milner have all spent spells on the absentee list.

Despite continuing to lead the way for Wales, Ramsey has [only managed 112 minutes](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/aaron-ramsey/leistungsdaten/spieler/50057) for Juventus across all competitions this term.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Signing Ramsey would provide a short-term solution to the [midfield issue](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/naby-keita-liverpool-injury-22018357) currently engulfing the squad.

Valued at £9million and under contract until 2023 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/aaron-ramsey/marktwertverlauf/spieler/50057)), the greatest cost would be absorbing the Welshman’s currently sky-high wages.

Boasting a [superb track record](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/aaron-ramsey/erfolge/spieler/50057) on the biggest stage and possessing plenty of quality, if fully fit there should be little doubt Ramsey would be a brilliant addition to the ranks.

However, regular injury woes and [wage demands](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47203118) will likely be enough to put Klopp off this one.
