# Virals: Liverpool have ‘clear advantage’ in pursuit of Dusan Vlahovic

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/10/21/virals-liverpool-interested-in-shock-raheem-sterling-reunion/) are reported to ‘have an advantage’ in the pursuit of Fiorentina striker [Dusan Vlahovic](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/10/19/virals-liverpool-willing-to-invest-in-fiorentina-striker-dusan-vlahovic/).

The Reds have been [tipped as one of the main protagonists](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/dusan-vlahovic-goals-liverpool-fans-21141872) in the race to sign the 21-year-old, with Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund also credited with an interest

The report states that the Anfield club and City have a ‘clear advantage’ ahead of their [European rivals](https://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/standings/) due to holding a healthy financial footing.

This season Vlahovic has [scored six times and registered one assist](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/dusan-vlahovic/leistungsdaten/spieler/357498) in nine appearances across all competitions.
