# Virals: Liverpool have Karim Adeyemi ‘on their radar’

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/09/06/viral-thread-unpicks-liverpool-transfer-spending/) have reportedly placed Red Bull Salzburg striker [Karim Adeyemi](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2019/12/04/liverpool-and-arsenal-told-to-pay-6-8m-for-adeyemi/) ‘on their radar’ ahead of a potential swoop.

The 19-year-old German looks to be the next off the [production line in Austria](https://totalfootballanalysis.com/article/patson-daka-next-star-roll-off-rb-salzburg-production-line-tactical-analysis-tactics) following in the footsteps of Erling Haaland and Patson Daka.

Born in Munich, Adeyemi has also attracted interest from Barcelona and Bayern Munich after a [superb start](https://www.sofascore.com/player/karim-adeyemi/940054) to the new season.

That’s according to a report from reputable German outlet [Bild](https://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/fussball/dfb-traum-debuet-so-tickt-flicks-neues-sturm-sternchen-adeyemi-77601390.bild.html), as cited by [LFC Transfer Room](https://twitter.com/LFCTransferRoom/status/1434975448530886666) on Twitter, claiming that the Reds are keen on the wonderkid.

Having [scored on a senior debut](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/karim-adeyemi/nationalmannschaft/spieler/496094/verein_id/3262) for Germany against Armenia, the young forward has caught the eye of many across Europe and could be set for a big-money move next summer.

Last season, Adeyemi scored [seven times and registered nine assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/karim-adeyemi/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/496094/plus/0/saison/2020/wettbewerb/A1/verein/409) in 29 Austrian Bundesliga appearances.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Valued at £18million and under contract until 2024 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/karim-adeyemi/marktwertverlauf/spieler/496094)), signing Adeyemi for the mooted £20million would be a bargain deal.

Capable of playing on either wing as well as a centre-forward, the teenage German attacker has all the [attributes](https://fbref.com/en/players/501055d8/Karim-Adeyemi) to thrive in a Jurgen Klopp led side.
