# Virals: Liverpool ‘interested in signing’ Juventus star Paulo Dybala

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/12/07/garth-crooks-lauds-dangerous-liverpool-cult-hero-divock-origi/) reportedly remain hopeful of signing Juventus forward [Paulo Dybala](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/02/24/reported-liverpool-target-paulo-dybala-still-under-contract-cloud/) on a free transfer at the end of the season.

The Reds have [previously been linked](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/paulo-dybala-haaland-liverpool-transfer-20160911) with the 28-year-old but appeared set to be disappointed as a new contract agreement edged closer.

However, now it would appear the Anfield club [haven’t yet given up hope](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1532467/Liverpool-Paulo-Dybala-transfer-Juventus-SNT) as January approaches.

That’s according to a report from [*Calciomercato*](https://www.calciomercato.com/news/dybala-il-liverpool-e-interessato-se-non-rinnova-52683), as cited by [The Premier League And More](https://twitter.com/ThePLandMore) on Twitter.

The report claims that Liverpool are interested in the [31-cap](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/paulo-dybala/nationalmannschaft/spieler/206050/verein_id/3437) Argentina ace’s choice over the coming weeks as *I bianconeri* attempt to tie down their star man.

So far this season Dybala has [scored eight times and provided four assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/paulo-dybala/leistungsdaten/spieler/206050) in 15 appearances for Massimiliano Allegri’s side.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Valued at £45million and out of contract at the end of the season ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/paulo-dybala/marktwertverlauf/spieler/206050)), Liverpool would be wise to remain attentive until the pen is on paper.

Capable of playing either [centrally as well as on either wing](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/paulo-dybala/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/206050), Dybala would be a superb addition to Jurgen Klopp’s squad.

Having already achieved a [trophy-laden career](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/paulo-dybala/erfolge/spieler/206050) in Italy, the Argentinian is an elite performer at the top level and as a possible free transfer should be watched until a deal is off the table.
