# Virals: Liverpool interested in signing Wolves loan ace Hwang Hee-chan

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/11/15/liverpool-face-nervous-wait-on-fitness-of-key-duo-ahead-of-epl-return/) are reportedly interested in signing Wolves loan ace Hwang Hee-chan.

The Reds are believed to have scouted the 25-year-old South Korean forward performances since arriving on a [season-long loan deal](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11699/12394570/wolves-transfer-news-hwang-hee-chan-joins-from-rb-leipzig-on-season-long-loan-with-option-to-buy) from RB Leipzig.

Wolves have an [option to make the move permanent](https://www.expressandstar.com/sport/football/wolverhampton-wanderers-fc/2021/11/04/wolves-hopeful-for-hwang-hee-chan-permanent-deal-in-january/) and could look to do so in January amidst interest from Anfield and Manchester City.

That’s according to a report from the [Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-man-city-hwang-hee-25452199), as cited by [Anfield Edition](https://twitter.com/AnfieldEdition) on Twitter.

The report claims that Wolves are now trying to turn the [41-cap](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/hee-chan-hwang/nationalmannschaft/spieler/292246/verein_id/3589) ace’s loan spell into a long-term switch.

So far this season Hee-chan, who was described as [‘devastating’](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58781182) by Garth Crooks, has [scored four times](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/hee-chan-hwang/leistungsdaten/spieler/292246) in eight Premier League outings.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Jurgen Klopp knows more firepower is needed at Anfield beyond the [first-choice](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/team/first-team) quartet.

Despite [chipping in](https://metro.co.uk/2021/10/27/jurgen-klopp-on-takumi-minaminos-problem-and-special-divock-origi-15499052/) with goals, the drop off from Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane to Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi has proven to be massive all too often.

Hee-chan is already showing his capabilities and the Reds should be looking to strike a deal for the £9.9million valued ace ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/hee-chan-hwang/marktwertverlauf/spieler/292246)).
