# Virals: Liverpool ‘looking carefully’ at Chelsea outcast Callum Hudson-Odoi

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/09/21/virals-liverpool-set-to-hand-efl-strugglers-100000-windfall/) are reportedly considering a move for Chelsea winger [Callum Hudson-Odoi](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/03/02/callum-hudson-odoi-expected-to-be-fit-for-chelseas-meeting-with-liverpool/).

The 20-year-old [burst onto the scene](https://www.chelseafc.com/en/videos/v/2019/05/10/young-player-of-the-year--hudson-odoi-E2bW9yaDE6gyM3Fn-gmPoBDUXHYnkpKG) at Stamford Bridge in 2019 before a period in the wilderness following a serious injury.

Now it would appear the talented youngster is becoming an outcast under Thomas Tuchel, leading to speculation that a future may lie elsewhere.

According to [CalcioMercato](https://www.calciomercato.com/news/liverpool-klopp-guarda-in-casa-del-chelsea-22799), as cited by [Liverpool FC News](https://twitter.com/LivEchoLFC/status/1440213931151159296) on Twitter, the Reds are keen on the Englishman.

The report states that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is [particularly keen](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-transfer-klopp-hudson-odoi-21409252) on the starlet.

Capped on [three occasions](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/callum-hudson-odoi/nationalmannschaft/spieler/392768/verein_id/9565) by England at senior level, Hudson-Odoi had looked to have the world at his talented feet at one stage.

However, an [Achilles tendon rupture](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/callum-hudson-odoi/verletzungen/spieler/392768) followed by subsequent injury woes have halted the forward’s development in London.

But, with hints of the situation that saw the Reds [land Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41098529) all over this link, the transfer remains a possibility.
