# Virals: Liverpool ‘monitoring’ Wolves full-back Rayan Ait-Nouri

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/12/15/virals-liverpool-target-denis-zakaria-can-leave-immediately/) are reportedly among the clubs ‘monitoring’ Wolves full-back Rayan Ait-Nouri.

The 20-year-old has been attracting plenty of interest from across Europe following a string of [fine displays](https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/mo-salah-wolves-liverpool-highlights-22369076) this season.

In fact, the Reds got a taste of the starlet’s talent recently when keeping a red-hot [Mohamed Salah](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/11/08/virals-epl-rivals-reportedly-want-liverpool-star-mohamed-salah/) quiet for the majority of the Molineux clash.

According to a report from the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10308895/Wolves-miss-huge-cash-windfall-potential-sale-Rayan-Ait-Nouri.html), as cited by [Anfield Edition](https://twitter.com/AnfieldEdition) on Twitter, the Anfield club are taking notice of the young Frenchman.

The report claims that [Ligue 1](https://www.skysports.com/ligue-1-table) club Angers inserted a 50 percent sell-on fee that could see Wolves miss out on a large sum as Paris Saint-Germain, Tottenham, Barcelona and Manchester City all join Liverpool in their admiration.

So far this season the ace described as [‘phenomenal’](https://podtail.com/en/podcast/the-molineux-view-a-show-about-wolves/flying-wing-backs-undroppable-dendoncker-should-tr/) by Tim Spiers has earned an impressive [6.97 average Sofasore rating](https://www.sofascore.com/player/rayan-ait-nouri/931278) from nine Premier League outings.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Valued at £16.3million and under contract in the Midlands until 2026 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/rayan-ait-nouri/marktwertverlauf/spieler/578391)), this would be an expensive move for what is likely to be a third choice left-back option.

Albeit capable of playing in more advanced roles, the [five-cap](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/rayan-ait-nouri/nationalmannschaft/spieler/578391/verein_id/9323) Under 21 ace is predominantly a full-back.

Jurgen Klopp already has the luxury of r[otating Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/kostas-tsimikas-andy-robertson-liverpool-22284356) in the position – adding another would be relatively unproductive.

That said, Ait-Nouri is a [supremely talented operator](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/355401/Show/Rayan-A%C3%AFt-Nouri) and if a move was to be forthcoming in the future, the Reds should at least be assessing their options.
