Signed by Salzburg [amidst competition](https://footballwhispers.com/blog/the-next-generation-of-european-superstars/) from Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund, Sesko has already been billed as the [‘Slovenian Erling Haaland’](https://anchor.fm/goalya/episodes/Benjamin-Sesko--Slovenian-Erling-Haaland-e14c64b).

Also linked with a move for attacking partner [Karim Adeyemi](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/10/06/virals-liverpool-begin-poker-for-transfer-of-karim-adeyemi/), Liverpool could be about to continue their [rich history](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7811221/Red-Bull-Salzburg-call-Liverpool-signing-three-players-past-four-years.html) of signing the best talent from the Austrian league leaders.

Albeit predominantly a central striker, Sesko has also [operated](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/benjamin-sesko/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/627442) on both wings – versatility that would further endear Jurgen Klopp to the youngster.

Valued at £7.2million and under contract until 2026 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/benjamin-sesko/marktwertverlauf/spieler/627442)), prizing the towering frontman away at a bargain fee could prove a difficult task.
