According to a fresh report from the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10489145/Liverpool-2-0-Diaz-Jota-signalled-changing-guard-feature.html), the Anfield club could be preparing a summer move for the gifted midfielder.

The report claims that Liverpool are ‘ready to offer’ a deal worth £3million per year with an £8million signing on fee to the [four-cap](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/gavi/nationalmannschaft/spieler/646740/verein_id/3375) Spain ace.

This season Gavi – hailed as [‘exceptional’](https://tech2sports.com/2021/10/07/gavi-receives-praise-after-a-heroic-performance-in-spains-win-over-italy-to-reach-the-nations-league-final/) by Luis Enrique – has [scored twice and provided three assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/gavi/leistungsdaten/spieler/646740) in 27 appearances across all competitions.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Out of contract in 2023 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/gavi/profil/spieler/646740)), this summer certainly presents a viable opportunity to sign the talented teen should no new deal be agreed.

Jurgen Klopp has seemingly already begun moulding the next generation of Liverpool stars, adding Gavi to the [ranks](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/team/first-team) would certainly be another step in that direction.

Already a key member of the Spanish senior side and Xavi’s first-team plans at the Camp Nou, the [£36million valued](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/gavi/marktwertverlauf/spieler/646740) starlet certainly possesses all the ability to thrive on Merseyside.
