# Virals: Liverpool register their interest in Eduardo Camavinga

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/08/23/virals-james-pearce-claims-liverpool-are-open-to-offers-for-divock-origi/) are believed to have made their interest known in Rennes wonderkid [Eduardo Camavinga](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/04/17/liverpool-favourites-for-camavinga/) this summer.

The 18-year-old midfield sensation is on the radar of a host of Europe’s top clubs after [contract negotiations stalled](https://www.football-espana.net/2021/08/07/rennes-real-madrid-camavinga) in France.

According to a report from [90min](https://www.90min.com/posts/eduardo-camavinga-transfer-rennes-ready-sell-psg-real-madrid-man-utd-liverpool-chelsea), the Reds have shown interest along with Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea.

Now in the [final 12 months](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/eduardo-camavinga/profil/spieler/640428) of a deal, Camavinga could be sold this summer in order to avoid the risk of losing their prize asset for nothing next year.

That’s according to reputable journalist [Fabrizio Romano](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1429584137090961408) on Twitter.

The initial report claims Liverpool and Manchester United are now ‘very much part’ of the conversation for the [seven times capped](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/eduardo-camavinga/nationalmannschaft/spieler/640428/verein_id/9323) French youth international.

Camavinga, previously described as a [‘little dancer’](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/camavinga-man-utd-transfer-news-24460098) by Paul Pogba, may have played [one final time](https://twitter.com/ZachLowy/status/1429585715625668609?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1429585715625668609%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fthepeoplesperson.com%2F2021%2F08%2F23%2Feduardo-camavinga-has-played-his-last-game-for-rennes-say-experts-235842%2F) for Rennes on Saturday as the teenager spent time with the home fans after a 1-0 victory over FC Nantes.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Valued at an eye-watering £49.5million ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/eduardo-camavinga/marktwertverlauf/spieler/640428)), signing the French starlet for the mooted £30million would be a bargain deal.

Last season the productive midfielder [scored once and registered two assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/eduardo-camavinga/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/640428) in 35 Ligue 1 outings – proving to be ready for the first-team despite his tender years.

Credited with [superb tackling and concentration](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/369109/Show/Eduardo-Camavinga), Camavinga could be Jurgen Klopp’s long-term Gini Wijnaldum replacement without the necessity to break the bank or be an immediate first-choice.
